  • In the Brazilian affiliate, we are currently looking for a Vice President for Corporate Affairs & Sustainability who will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company''s corporate affairs, public relations, brand and corporate communication, and sustainability strategies aligned to the business goals.
  • The PositionBased in São Paulo, Brazil, as the Vice President CA&S, you will report to the General Manager Brazil and lead an organization of 3 direct reports with a total of 18 employees.
  • In your role as VP CA&S, you will be responsible for enhancing the company''s brand reputation, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving sustainable practices that align with the company''s values and long-term goals.
  • As a key member of the affiliate Management Team, the VP of Corporate Affairs & Sustainability provides invaluable insights and strategic guidance to ensure that corporate affairs, communication, public relations, and sustainability initiatives are aligned with the company''s mission, values, and long-term objectives, leading the implementation of a strategic plan in collaboration with different areas.
  • This role will also be responsible for:Corporate Affairs Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate affairs strategy that encompasses public relations, government affairs, media, and stakeholder engagement across areas.
  • Sustainability Strategy: Drive the development and execution of the company''s sustainability strategy, integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into business decisions and operations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively develop and maintain key stakeholder networks, cultivating relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including MoH, government authorities, regulatory bodies, industry associations, NGOs, Embassies, and the local community to anticipate threats and opportunities aligned with business goals.
  • Policy Advocacy: Monitor legislative and regulatory developments related to sustainability, corporate governance, and environmental stewardship, and advocate for policies that align with the company''s goals.
  • Collaborate with industry partners, trade associations, and advocacy groups to influence policy decisions that support sustainable business practices and long-term objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing Corporate Affairs & Sustainability team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members.
  • Foster a culture of sustainability and corporate responsibility throughout the organization, promoting awareness and understanding of sustainability goals and initiatives at all levels.
  • QualificationsOutstanding leadership and communication skills.
  • You hold a University/Master''s Degree within the field from a well-recognized institute with a proven track record of leadership in corporate affairs, public relations, or sustainability roles, ideally in a global, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Extensive experience in developing and executing corporate affairs strategies, including public relations, government affairs, and communications initiatives to engage with key stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, industry associations, and the local community.
  • A deep understanding of the Brazilian health system and its key stakeholders, ESG principles, and sustainable practices, including crisis management and communications, media relations, and reputation management, as well as knowledge of regulatory and policy developments related to health, sustainability, and corporate governance.
  • As a people manager, you will maintain employee engagement through performance management, coaching, and talent development.

  • This position also requires excellent communication skills in Portuguese as well as English.
