O que você irá fazer

  • Working in a small team, the intern will have a high exposure to networking with startups and investors, learning how to evaluate early-stage investment opportunities.
  • Main Responsibilities · Conduct deal searching and market research · Manage the deal pipeline and track leads through the investment process · Evaluate investment opportunities including fit to investment thesis, qualitative and quantitative aspects, valuation and return analysis · Assist with monitoring of portfolio investments, including: (i) supporting companies in daily operations; (ii) assessing investment portfolio track record · Support the execution of companies acquisitions and dispositions, including due diligence, and negotiation of contract terms · Actively monitor targeted industries for investment/divestment purposes · Build a variety of investment materials such as teasers, pitch books, term sheets, support letters and investment committee presentations · Prepare the materials for Invest Tech board meetings Experience and Skills · Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, or Economics · Critical thinking + analytical skills and a high degree of intellectual curiosity · Basic knowledge of valuation, accounting, and corporate finance · Fluency in Portuguese and English · Good written and verbal communication skills · Self-starter who works well within a team but with an ability to work independently · Able to manage a multitasking environment, with good time/project management skills · Positive attitude, accountability, team spirit, and willingness to learn continuously · An understanding of technology and network in the startup community are a plus, as well as previous work experience (preferably in Venture Capital, Private Equity, M&A and/or Investment Banking) Why Invest Tech Invest Tech is a pioneer in VC and PE funds dedicated to technology in Brazil, with over 17 years of track record.
