  • Job DutiesGain and utilize expertise in specific aspects of a PSLs'' technology and services portfolio to educate Customers, Operations, and Business Development (BD) on features, advantages, and benefits of the PSL solution offerings.
  • Under broad direction, the Technical Sales Advisor is accountable for Delivery Execution, pursuing excellence in all activities, identifying technical needs of customers through product knowledge and geographic understanding of challenges.
  • They aid the BD organization in pursuing work through customer interaction and workshops, provide technical recommendations for proposals, and assist in diagnosing and communicating solutions delivery issues, utilizing detailed knowledge of specific sub-PSL products, services, and solutions.
  • Technical Sales Advisors help establish strategic direction by understanding local customer business drivers and technical challenges, and are responsible for executing up-sell strategies within their geographic responsibility.
  • They maintain awareness of market trends and collaborate with PSL, Region/Country Business Development, Account, and Tech Teams to identify growth opportunities.
  • They provide input on PSL technology priorities based on market and customer needs.
  • They execute tactical plans as set by the country management team.
  • Candidates must have a thorough understanding of supported sub-PSL technology and broad understanding of development tools, promote PSL quality directives, and ensure operations comply with all HSE and OE policies.
  • They utilize project management skills and provide guidance to less experienced staff.
  • The role impacts revenue centers or service quality through personal contributions.
  • A bachelors degree in Engineering or related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the energy services industry, including at least 5 years as a field professional.
