Manage the lifecycle of IP/MPLS network elements (PE, P, CE routers) with a focus on Cisco equipment (ASR, NCS, Catalyst, etc.
).
Work closely with RAN, Core, and Transmission teams to ensure seamless IP transport.
Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues impacting SLA.
Coordinate and lead troubleshooting of escalated incidents and network outages.
Develop and enforce network policies, standards, and documentation.
Manage vendor and partner relationships, especially with Cisco TAC and technical account teams.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Cisco certification required (CCNP Service Provider or CCIE preferred) .
Minimum 7+ years of experience in IP/MPLS network engineering, ideally in telecom or ISP environments.
Deep understanding of protocols and technologies: MPLS, Segment Routing, OSPF, BGP, LDP, RSVP-TE, QoS, IPsec, VRF .
Proven experience managing large-scale IPRAN or transport networks.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Capable of solving complex problems and performing well under pressure.
