O que você irá fazer
Be accountable for the client delivery outcomes and the team performance as it relates to fundamental credit and risk awarenessAs directed by GB Management and working closely with the Head CA to be a critical interface to Audit seniors, Risk seniors including Risk Policy on behalf of the business.
Instil a commitment to structure and business focus.
Ensure a highly motivated team.
Coordinate with the Head CA to provide oversight on quality of IC credit analysis performed within the given parameters.
Address training needs holistically, provide coaching where needed and encourage independent credit analysis.
Publish relevant credit metrics periodically and closely monitor BCA TAT /overdues/refer backs and CaRTs.
Be accountable to Head CA and ultimately to the Regional Head of GB and their seniors for staff development and overall soundness of credit underwriting and review process.
Develop industry and segment expertise within the team, as deemed relevant by GB management.
Identify and highlight issues faced by CAs and be the change agent to drive process improvement, working closely with the US CA Team.
StrategySupport the Head CA in understanding the GB business strategy and leadership expectations and ensuring client account maintenance activities are effectively managed in accordance with the Banks strategic focus.
Risk ManagementAct as the point of escalation for day-to-day client account maintenance activities to reduce unnecessary RM involvement where possible.
Collaborate to raise the in-country client issues to the Regional Head of GB at the Client Experience Forum and to the GB COO team for thematic Empresa importante issues.
Ensure appropriate team capacity management to align with business and portfolio changes and engage the Regional Head of GB/GB COO team to address any gaps/issues.
Provide portfolio management for the credit administration process of clients.
Team must:Analyze credit developments and trends at a country, regional and Empresa importante level.
In the course of credit and financial review, conduct credit intelligence to identify potential business opportunities with acceptable risk profile.
Relay the information to Senior Management for strategy discussions and cascade to the relevant Coverage teams as needed.
Provide focused, timely, and value-added credit analysis and reports with proactive monitoring of the portfolio for adverse or positive developments, based on country, economic or industry events.
Coordinate with sub-segment teams to ensure effective, disciplined and consistent approach to managing risk and maximizing business opportunities.
Support growing the business and actively participate in the underwriting of new cross border deals and credit assessment of new and existing clients.
ProcessesIdentify operational effectiveness improvements locally processes, policies, procedures, systems and ways of working and Empresa importante ownership of driving resolution including thinking outside the box by:Co-leading discussions with local GB, Products and Functional partner leadership teams, particularly regarding improving ways of working and achieving faster TAT; Proactively deepening local Functional partner relationships to build strong collaboration and alignment; Providing ongoing feedback on challenges, successes and best practices; Review relevant client team portfolio data/reports ASTAR, Excess & Past Dues/ WorkBench modules, SCI, CRC/Credit, ACBS/Lending etc to identify lead indicators/trends in portfolio quality and Empresa importante proactive steps to address root causes of the issues.
Collaborate with the Head CA to manage the credit process changes when credit policy changes are enacted globally and analyze gaps and propose solutions that optimize execution.
Coordinate regional/Empresa importante efforts to ensure compliance with BCA/GM renewal policies, CaRTs and other credit administration processes as these relate to the IC portfolio.
Work closely with the IC CAs to ensure zero BCA/credit review overdues and work to minimize extensions.
Leadership and Team DevelopmentWork closely with the CA Head to build and effectively lead the team to deliver exceptional client execution by:Leading discussions with local GB, Products and Functional partner leadership teams, particularly regarding improving ways of working and achieving faster TAT; Attracting, retaining and developing strong CA talent, up-tiering as required; Ensuring all hiring decisions are aligned with the capabilities of the CA role profile and job description; Ensuring CAs are clear on their roles/performance expectations and their P3 objectives are set in accordance with the Empresa importante standards and documented in the Employee Portal; Effectively managingthe P3 process to ensure high performance is recognized and rewarded and under performance is appropriately addressed; Regularly engaging in coaching conversations with CAs, providing timely, clear and actionable feedback; Ensuring all mandatory learning is undertaken with reference to the CA learning curriculum, including the CA credit training; Understanding individualCA aspirations and capabilities and ensuring development plans align accordingly; Communicate effectively to CAs and other key local stakeholders all key messages from Empresa importante calls regarding key updates on the CA/Client Delivery Model agenda and all operational effectiveness progress impacting the teams.
Provide credit specific coaching to newer or less experienced members of the team.
Manage team capacity catering to cyclical workloads; ensure timeliness of deliverables by proactively planning capacity catering to cyclical demands and peak periods.
Develop training plans for team including induction pack for new joiners.
Provide strong leadership to IC CA team ensuring independent, quality and timely credit analysisSupport Business in the on ad hoc projects and strategic initiativesContinually strive to share key relevant knowledge and learnings lessons learnt from recent transactions / credit events with other CA HeadsPublish metrics to demonstrate quality and timeliness on credit workSeek applicable pre-approval endorsements; GovernanceSupport Head CA in the following:Assessing the effectiveness of the Groups arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas.
Maintaining awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the rolebeing accountable for delivering effective governance.

Experience & Skills:Related industry experience within a bank setting is a plus.

Able to hold credible dialogue at all levels of the organisation, as well as with clients.
Well organized, able to multi-task and balance competing demands.
Educational Qualifications:Graduates / Graduate calibre.
Sound knowledge of accounting and financial principles gained by experience or qualification.
MBA or CFA qualifications advantageous, but not required.
