  • Overview TheTax Manager will be responsible for managing tax compliance, tax reporting, and transfer pricing for the agencies and shared service center inArgentina .
  • This includes ensuring standardization of tax procedures across all agencies, guaranteeing compliance with Argentine tax regulations, and identifying tax planning opportunities to optimize the company's fiscal position.
  • The Tax Manager must also provide support and guidance to tax team, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of tax processes in accordance with corporate policies and local regulations.
  • Responsibilities Tax Compliance & Reporting Supervise tax compliance processes, ensuring accurate and timely filing of all applicable taxes, including direct and indirect taxes.
  • Ensure compliance withArgentine tax legislation and monitor changes in tax regulations, advising the company on necessary adjustments.
  • Approve corporate income tax calculations and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee tax reconciliations and ensure they align with financial statements.
  • Coordinate the taxforecast and ETR (Effective Tax Rate) reporting with the Tax LATAM Director.
  • Manage tax documentation and maintain updated records for audits and internal controls.
  • Tax Strategy & Planning Developtax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position, while ensuring full legal compliance.
  • Supporttransfer pricing compliance, including documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Identify tax risks and opportunities for savings within business operations.
  • Provide guidance on the tax implications of new business structures, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Tax Audits & Authorities Act as the main liaison withArgentine tax authorities , handling inquiries, audits, and potential disputes.
  • Supervise tax litigation processes and manage tax-related legal matters with internal and external advisors.
  • Ensure proper responses to tax assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Internal & External Stakeholder Management Coordinate and collaborate withCFOs, Controllers, and external tax advisors to align tax strategies with business objectives.
  • Support internal and externalaudits , ensuring tax compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Providetax training and awareness to internal teams to enhance compliance and efficiency.
  • Qualifications Experience 10 years of experience in Legal / Tax or Accounting areas in medium or large companies.
  • Passing through BIG4 is a differential.
  • Understands the link between revenues/costs and uses this information to guide economic focus.
  • Knowledge in Tax, Corporate, Commercial Legislation and large systems.
  • Experience in relation to the tax authorities, lawyers, consultants, auditors.
  • Broad Vision - Ability to analyze the environment, both locally and in a broader context, to gather diverse information potentially relevant to achieving the objectives of the position.
  • Demonstrates a knowledge of business and financial concepts and can assess the situation to minimize risk.
  • Ability to work efficiently in different scenarios, demonstrated by the ability to correct one's own approach as circumstances and situations unfold.
  • Education Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Skills English fluency level B2+ or above is required.
