O que você irá fazer

  • ABOUT THE TEAM VTEX Tax team is responsible for managing every aspect related to tax planning and compliance procedures, focusing on improving the quality and efficiency of tax processes.
  • As a member of our team, you will have autonomy to: Deal with tax and accounting matters, ensuring the compliance with the legislation; Continuously review the Direct and Indirect tax calculations and returns prepared by external consultants; Register journal entries related to tax accounts (recoverable/payable/expense accounts); Keep the accounting reconciliation updated; Help implement/improve SOX controls; Keep up to date with tax developments, identifying changes in the requirements of each country; Help with doubts and suggestions from customers about withholding taxes; Respond to local tax audits; Active participation in transfer pricing discussions.
  • WHO YOU ARE You must have a bachelors degree in accounting or related areas; You must have 3+ years of tax professional experience, specifically in compliance (Big 4/mid to large or global company experience would be a differential); You must have solid professional experience with international tax legislation; You must understand the concepts of journal entries and reconciliation of Direct and Indirect tax accounts (assets, liabilities, and P&L); You might have SAP experience (its a differential); You must have analytical skills and attention to details; You must be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; You must have good communication skills.
  • You should be able to communicate in advanced or fluent English.
