  • SecureWISE is currently seeking a Systems Administrator to support our world-wide private network.
  • This includes working with the support, sales, and development groups to enhance and maintain the secureWISE platform.
  • **Overview**:As a Systems Administrator at secureWISE, you will be responsible for monitoring, improving, troubleshooting, and supporting the secureWISE systems.
  • **Responsibilities**:- Designs and implements new IT solutions to improve the overall availability and reliability of the secureWISE platform.
  • - Manage cases in a prompt and professional manner.
  • - Troubleshoots system problems independently by investigating underlying problems.
  • - Configures, deploys, and maintains server infrastructure.
  • - Participates in planning and execution of new systems design/deployment.
  • - Monitors systems performance and capacity.
  • - Participates in 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • - Interfaces with vendor support service groups and to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance.
  • - Participated in the implementation of disaster recovery solutions and the execution of periodic disaster recovery tests.
  • - Analyzes network performance data and statistics.
  • Prepares reports and recommends changes and improvements to ensure performance and availability objectives.
  • - Demonstrates ability to understand and analyze customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  • - Collaborates with Network Engineers towards next generation networking solutions.
  • - Performs collaborative effort in support of the network infrastructure.
  • - Other assigned tasks by management.
  • - Manage System Backups, Anti-virus and OS updates.
  • **Qualifications**- Proven experience creating, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows servers.
  • - Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent training and experience.
  • - Professional experience 3-6 years in IT.
  • - Ability to work in a small team environment under multiple deadlines and mínimal supervision.
  • - Proven experience in completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis.
  • - Demonstrates calm and professional demeanor when handling demanding situations.
  • - Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills.
  • -- Understanding of network flow analysis tools.
  • - Understanding of OS level firewalls and AWS security groups.
