  • LOCATION:Rio MaiorROLE PURPOSE:Support the maintenance manager to optimise maintenance activities mechanicallyand/or electrically to achieve the service level and the efficiency required andensure all the activities are performed in a safe way according Sibelco-s policy,guidelines and values.
  • 1) OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE:Execute maintenance activities in the site according to the Operational ExcellencePrincipleContinuously communicate with production management to ensure maintenanceactivities are performed in a timely manner and the production downtime is limitedto a minimumDaily control the site to identify maintenance issues and ensure important issuesare handled as a priorityFollow up of the maintenance program (planned/preventive/predictive strategy)2) REPORTING AND KPI-S:Perform activities to fulfil the set of predefined KPI-s, i.

  • quality andquantityRegister information in the relevant IT system and/or on paperControl information with the predefined KPI-s and take necessary actions in caseof deviationBuild statistics on maintenance to secure preventive maintenanceManage and monitor document management system3) SUPPORT MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES:Support the technicians and/or electricians in the siteGive pro-actively support in case of difficult activities and/or problemsPlan sufficient employees and arrange back-up in case of absence to ensure thescheduled maintenance activities can be met4) ADVISOR:Advise the Technology department on the setup and execution of new processesand/or technologiesParticipate in project groupsAdvise engineers based on practical/theoretical knowledge of the processes5) SPARE PART STRATEGY:Follow up the spare part strategy for all maintenance related stock and managecorrectly the spare part warehouseAdvise the warehouse supervisor on what to keep in stockControl stock6) SAFETY:Performs their activities in a safe and healthy way7) PEOPLE MANAGEMENT:Motivate and evaluate the team members to enhance team collaboration and supporttheir individual development and growthExecute the training planIdentify competency gaps within the maintenance teamABOUT YOU:Technical degree in mechanics or electronics or equivalent by experiencePrior experience in a supervisor roleTechnical English - read and understandLocal language of the country of base and main operations - proficient verbal &writingBut most importantly, if you embrace our core values, and if this role sparks yourSibelco-s team of unique talents within a diverse international businesscommunity, then we very much look forward to hearing from you.
