The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for ensuring market access, revenuegrowth and menu expansion within large strategic accounts, verticalized healthsystems, and key accounts as assigned.
Facilitate and develop business activitieswithin the assigned account and bring new accounts opportunities.
Collaborate,strategize, and support TSEs that are partnered in those accounts.
Working withinthose accounts the focus will be to contribute to and achieve specific salesobjectives, both tactical and strategic.
Success will be demonstrated by theability to delivery commercial results, execute commercial agreements, drivecompliance, support and chart out sales & Marketing strategies on across-functional basis.
This position should demonstrate ability to navigate atall stakeholders level within the accountIN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:ESTABLISH Confidential AND PRODUCTS CREDIBILITY AT EXECUTIVE LEVELS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Private Hospitals, Infection Prevention Control, Infectious Disease Units, Lab,Purchase and Administrative departmentOrganize webinars, symposiums and workshops in those target accountsRepresent Cepheid in various strategic account conventions and industry functionsto position the Confidential as a leader in our market space.
Engage Cepheid headquarters and executive management in business developmentmeetings with Strategic Customer Groups.
Develop and support proposed pricing, contracting and marketing businessinitiatives in order to solve marketplace/customer problems while managingCepheid-s financial and legal exposure.
Lead, consult and collaborate with multi-level, cross-functional teams bothinternal and external on developing business strategies for business development,marketing, promoting and selling of Cepheid products.
Effectively manage all available resources to support customers.
THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOBINCLUDE:EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:Bachelor-s degree with 8+ years of successful sales, Business development, and/ormarketing experienceMBA desirableFluent in EnglishKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:1 -2 years prior strategic account management experience required.
A significantportion of time is required in the development of one-s corporate account strategyand/or presence.
Experience in setting both short 1-2 years and long-term 3-7 years businessstrategies.
Effective in influencing and persuading others, results driven, self-motivated,demonstrate ability to plan and organize, and possess solid communication andselling skills.
Demonstrated ability to recognize and offer programs and/or solutions to complexcustomer problems and act with a sense of urgency.
Ability to develop contract structure which drives strategic account success.
Strong executive-level negotiation skills with multi-year agreements.
Experience working closely with field sales and sales management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ABILITIES:35% travel is anticipated.
Ability to sit for long periods of time due to travel.
