  • Description and Requirements In this role, you will be pivotal in driving profitable growth and cost optimization by providing financial costing, pricing, and deal-shaping support.
  • Key responsibilities include repricing renewals, refreshing catalogues, and supporting negotiations of pricing and commercial terms.
  • Your expertise in DaaS pricing constructs and market trends will guide strategic pricing, influence senior executives, and assist sales and deal teams in informed decision-making.
  • You will also maintain historical pricing data, conduct in-depth pricing analysis, and foster strong partnerships with Global Pursuit and Solution and Services Group Deal Desk teams to support complex pricing scenarios and governance reviews.
  • Proficiency in competitive pricing mechanisms, particularly within the IT Services industry, is essential, as is the ability to benchmark and assess cost and market data for DWS Price Benchmarking and DaaS/DWS bids.
  • Responsibilities Provide financial costing, pricing, and deal shaping support.
  • Re-price renewals and refresh catalogues.
  • Support negotiations of pricing and commercial terms.
  • Create value for Lenovo while managing profitability and cost optimization.
  • Maintain historical pricing data, review and implement pricing policies.
  • Prepare and present pricing analysis to senior executives, Marketing, and Sales teams to influence outcomes of deal shaping and assist with decision making.
  • Assist deal teams in understanding and highlighting risks and providing mitigation.
  • Analyze financial impact accordingly.
  • Develop close ties with the Global Pursuit teams to support complex pricing scenarios.
  • Facilitate governance and deal reviews.
  • Partner with SSG Deal Desk team & Solution Architects to provide DWS Price Benchmarking for DaaS/DWS bids during Deal Desk process.
  • Recommend pricing strategies that align closely with business priorities and market trends.
  • Assess Cost, Price, and Market data from various sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.
  • Knowledge of DaaS and Digital Workplace pricing constructs is preferred.
  • Be a subject matter expert for all things related to DWS Pricing.
  • KPIs Ensure informed decision making between sales, delivery, and commercial interests to deliver optimal value for both external clients and Lenovo.
  • Provide competitive benchmarks for DWS opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with Sales and Solution Architects.
  • Deep understanding of the latest IT Services market trends across geographies.
  • Work and share best practices within Central Price Benchmarking & Intelligence team.
  • Specification & Qualification Education/Qualification Must Have: A bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of competitive pricing mechanisms and constructs in the IT Services industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially MS Excel) and associated analysis.
  • Able to manage complexity and drive decision making.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and possess good organizing skills.
  • A masters degree in business administration is preferred.
  • Certifications in Pricing and active membership in related associations are a plus.
  • Work Experience A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pricing Professional/Consultant in the IT Services industry.
