  • Job PurposeProvides engineering solutions in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.
  • Job DescriptionWorks in a global engineering team to support and improve operations, manufacturing, tendering, and the quality and reliability of subsea drilling products; Executes engineering improvement work to reduce/eliminate problem recurrence and downtime events; Supports the SDS lead engineers for tendering and field support; Creates, reviews and approves designs, drawings, part reports, specifications, and procedures.
  • Ensures that products meet specifications, standards, and performance requirements within area of expertise; Engages with the entire value stream to ensure effective cost, manufacturing, and operation; Maintains personal schedule of project and communicates updates with key internal and external stakeholders.

  • Driving technical scopes including interface with other disciplines and drafting activities.
  • Working knowledge of API 6A/17D is preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for seeking improvements and challenging existing methods; Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) methods, when to apply FEA, and ability to interpret results.
  • Ability to perform FEA preferred, but not required.
