  • About the job The RFC (Risk, Fraud and Compliance Solutions team) is looking for a Sr Industry Consultant Fraud Prevention to support us in our mission, vision and business expansion: Our vision is to forge a safer world through trusted, industry-leading Risk, Fraud and Compliance solutions.
  • Our mission is to accelerate customer value through timely and robust data-driven decision-making that unifies and streamlines the Risk, Fraud and Compliance domains.
  • Helping our customers to prevent financial crimes (fraud and/or money laundering) through the usage of Data Analytics.
  • Support internally the Sales team with Go-to-Market strategy and enablement.
  • As a Sr Industry Consultant you will: Provide direct industry/business domain sales support through sales calls, customer visits and presentations contributing to new revenue generation.
  • Coach the sales force on industry focused account strategies and lead the sales organization with new account penetration strategies.
  • Involved in all stages of the sales engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners, key consultancies, and system integrators to establish focused and effective strategic teaming arrangements.
  • Develop industry specific sales strategies that enable the SAS sales force to establish SAS as the key industry analytics partner.
  • Activities include identifying industry trends and sources of major disruption in the industry, establishing strategic vision and value propositions based on SAS offerings, and articulating a solution capability at the C-level.
  • Support thought leadership activities including articles, whitepapers, blogs, speaking engagements and involvement with key industry organizations.
  • Identify industry trends, emerging issues, competitive advances and threats.
  • Coordinate with other SAS resources to help define SAS position regarding these trends and issues.
  • Work closely with sales staff, sales management, and marketing staff to ensure successful positioning of industry solutions and that a consistent message is communicated to our customers and/or business partners.
  • Build credibility and trusted advisor relationships with customers.
  • Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Banking Fraud Prevention areas.
  • Education requirement: Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, economics, data science, or related areas.
  • Advanced proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish languages.
  • Travel as business requirements dictate at management discretion (10-15%).
  • Demonstrated thought leader in a single domain or industry (publishes articles, leads demand generation activities, and speaks in the business track at conferences/events).
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Good problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

  • Hands-on data and financial modeling experience.
  • Experience with any market Fraud Prevention Platform.
  • Fraud Prevention and Anti-money laundering knowledge.
  • Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
