  • Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Sr.
  • Accounting Analyst to lead our finance team at SoftwareIDM in managing end-to-end monthly closing including financial statement preparation and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and contributing to key accounting processes.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with reconciliations, financial reporting, and tax filings, as well as familiarity with both Brazilian GAAP and foreign accounting standards.
  • Key Responsibilities: Lead in the preparation, maintenance, and organization of key accounting records, including journals, general ledgers, and financial reports.
  • Manage end-to-end monthly closing including financial statement preparation Own month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform reconciliations of key accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Prepare and file sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Assist with income tax calculations and filings, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss (P&L), to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures in alignment with best practices and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support financial audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records to facilitate efficient audits and reporting.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Required Skills: Bachelor''s degree in Accounting (Brazil or United States) Professional or Bilingual proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate in a professional setting.
  • Solid understanding of core accounting processes, end-to-end monthly closing including financial statement preparation, internal audit interface, group reconciliation, Balance Sheet and P&L analysis Hands-on experience with income tax and sales tax (VAT) calculations and filings.
  • Proficiency in financial software and mainstream ERPs (e.

  • , SAP, Oracle, or similar) as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Previous experience working with foreign GAAP (e.

  • , IFRS, US GAAP, or others) in addition to Brazilian GAAP.
  • Preferably US GAAP.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience collaborating with international clients and exposure to different business cultures.
  • Experience supporting external audits and interacting with auditors.
  • Experience in FP&A including financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to company locations internationally, including to the US, UK, IS and other locations.
