Location and Flexibility This is a hybrid role.
This model requires the ability to work in a hybrid mode from one of our offices in São Paulo (2 times/ week or 8 days/ month) or Porto Alegre (3 times/ week or 12 days/ month).

The Opportunity TELUS Digital is hiring for empathetic, curious software test engineers to join our growing team.

Responsibilities Confidently deliver high-quality test strategies and implementation, applying critical thinking to products, requirements, and processes.
Create and write test plans, defining how tests will be structured and communicated.
Apply various types of testing methodologies and work collaboratively on implementation.
Test a combination of individual stories and overall product through both local and deployed builds.
Create, maintain, and utilize automated tests to ensure quality over time, both for local testing and in a CI pipeline.
Help mentor and coach a product team towards shared goals and outcomes.
Navigate difficult conversations by providing constructive feedback to teams.
Identify obstacles to ensure quality, improve our user experience and how we build tests.
Be self-aware of limitations, yet curious to learn new solutions while being receptive to constructive feedback from teammates.
Guide your team to understand and work through changing priorities by bringing positive energy.
Communicate and simplify complex problems in order to foster understanding across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications 5+ years of test engineering experience.
Experience with testing methodologies and automation implementation.
Professional programming experience.
Experience in Playwright (preferred) or Cypress.
Utilizing Git, Github and maintaining Github actions.
Comfortable using the terminal and CLI tools.
Comfortable building and running projects.
Proficiency in Typescript.
Experience with docker for building locally and testing.
Collaborating directly with developers to troubleshoot and solution problems.
Ability to evaluate requirements and identify gaps in requirements for testing.
Experience in Jira and ability to navigate tickets and priorities in a fast paced agile team.
Bonus Points Mac experience preferred.
Familiarity with Vercel.
Familiarity with GCP.
Familiarity with Firebase and Firestore.
