Join our international team supporting one of theworlds largest social media platforms.
Duration: 6 Months (Freelance) Location: Brazil (Remote must be based in Brazil) Start Date: ASAPKey Responsibilities: Develop and enhance large-scale data processing systems in a distributed environment Design and optimize pipelines and metadata models Build and customize Spark internals and contribute to open-source community Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully agile setup Design Fine Grained Access Control systems for big data platforms Maintain and improve platform performance and scalabilityRequirements: 5+ years as a Software Engineer withstrong Java expertise (Kotlin is a plus) 3+ years building scalablebig data infrastructure/platforms Solid experience withSpark, Hadoop, Parquet/ORC, or Flink StrongOOPand system documentation skills Results-oriented mindset and proactive communication Fluency in English (Mandatory)Nice to Have: Knowledge ofAWS and Kubernetes.
