  • WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT Duties will include the following: Complete tasks from the previous shift, place raw materials on the production floor, prepare solutions, and handle loading and unloading of bulk tankers.
  • Prepare filtering equipment, ensure accurate product weight, and verify Quality Control approval before filling drums.
  • Seal filled drums to make them weatherproof.
  • Record daily dips of bulk stock tanks and other required data, ensuring bulk tanks are not overfilled.
  • Obtain and label samples of dispersion for quality control analysis.
  • Use a forklift to transport raw materials and finished products.
  • Assist the foreman in monitoring the DCS, monitor scrubbers, and replace or remove contaminated solutions.
  • Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards, clean and recharge caustic scrubber holding tanks, and clean operating areas around the plant.
  • Take immediate action to minimize damage and clean up in case of spillages.
  • Act as a deputy for Shift Utility Operator and other Shift Plant Operators in their absence.
  • Perform any additional duties within your ability or experience as required.
