Role Description: This is a part-time remote role as a SENIOR VIDEO EDITOR.
You will be responsible for creating and editing audiovisual material (short-form and longer-form videos, including basic animation) for the companys YouTube channel, webpages, webinars, social media, and events.
Editors will work both independently and as part of a larger production team depending on the project requirements.
What We Expect: Flexible Hours: Meet delivery deadlines and attend key meetings.
Language Skills: Fluent in English.
Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
Self-Discipline: Comfortable working remotely and independently.
Results-Driven: Proactive, creative problem solver who delivers impact.
Tech-Ready: Personal computer with a camera, stable internet connection, and video editing software.
Equity-Based Compensation: Willingness to accept shares until our next funding round.
Time Commitment: Minimum of 8-16 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities: Working with the Production Team to conceptualize, create, and fully produce engaging, attractive, and appropriate audiovisual elements as required by the various departments.
Help maintain an organized, effective Marketing department.
Help the company stay up to date with the latest tech developments and production techniques in your field.
Support other team members in their project needs.
Provide insight, creative criticism, and feedback to help the company continue to improve.
Job Qualifications: A high school degree or higher in multimedia or equivalent is required.
We value natural talent and skill.
Exceptional video editing skills, communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and an ethical mindset are all necessary.
Full license for Video and Animation Software.
You must have extensive knowledge of how to edit a show in PRE, POST, and Live productions.
You should be adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Experience with MS 365 Pro-Environment, Teams, Office, and OneDrive is a plus.
At least 5 years of previous work experience is required.
Experience using and effectively engaging Artificial Intelligence tools (illustrators, storyboarding, etc.
).
