  • Role reports to:Lead Technology & Procurement CounselTravel %:10%What you will doAs Senior Technology & Data Counsel, you will provide strategic legal counsel to Kenvues Technology & Data organization in support of sourcing and contracting activities for technology services and solutions procured by the business.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesYou will draft contracts, lead negotiations, and partner with Kenvues Tech & Data procurement organization on complex technology procurement contractual arrangements.
  • You will provide strategic legal advice and technology support to business and procurement partners while collaborating with other attorneys, business partners and subject matter experts, as appropriate, to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures, risk assessments and mitigations.
  • You will partner with Kenvues Technology & Data procurement organization to understand and analyze their business needs and drive appropriate technology sourcing and contracting strategies.
  • You will collaborate with Kenvues Technology & Data procurement organization to improve the end-to-end Technology & Data contracting process, deliver legal and contracting training and playbooks, create, harmonize and rationalize agreement templates, identify and adopt best practices and support process improvements.
  • You will work closely with members of Kenvues Legal & Compliance team to mitigate risk in the contracting process and ensure that all legal, regulatory, privacy, cybersecurity and other considerations are taken into account and managed appropriately.
  • You will lead and provide project management support on strategic Law Department and Tech & Data procurement initiatives.
  • QualificationsWhat we are looking forRequired QualificationsJuris Doctor degree, and admission to the bar (in good standing) in at least one U.

  • jurisdiction, or equivalent in Canada or a relevant Latin America jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 5 years of corporate law experience at a law firm and/or in-house law department with experience in drafting and negotiating complex technology terms and conditions and agreements, including software and SaaS agreements, application development and maintenance agreements, data sharing agreements, infrastructure agreements and telecom agreements, and advising on technology, intellectual property, privacy and cybersecurity matters.
  • Strong virtual team working and organizational skills, including strong communication (with the ability to make the complex simple), with experience in a fast-paced matrix and international environment.
  • Excellent collaborative skills, including the ability to coordinate seamlessly with other Kenvue attorneys, external counsel, business leaders, Technology & Data Legal counterparts, functional experts, and other advisors.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively identify, assess and mitigate risks appropriately within business context.
  • A global mindset, a focus on teamwork, and the skills to work across business functions and cultures with teams located in multiple geographies and time zones are also required for the role.
  • Desired QualificationsConsumer products and/or Healthcare experience, including dealing with global / multi-country operations.
  • Experience providing direct legal support to technology procurement functions.
