What youll be doing Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using modern technologies and best practices.
Lead architectural discussions and provide technical guidance to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our e-commerce environment.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Implement integrations with third-party services and payment gateways to enhance the functionality of our environment.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and fault tolerance using cloud-native technologies and services.
Champion best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment automation to ensure the stability and maintainability of our software.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions to address business challenges.
Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the engineering team.
What were looking for Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including modern frameworks like Svelte), and Node.
js.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms, desirable in the context of Edge Computing, particularly Cloudflare, including services such as Workers, Workers KV, R2, D1.
In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms and frameworks such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming APIs.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.
g.
, Docker), and orchestration tools (e.
g.
, Kubernetes).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in production environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Certifications are a plus.
Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
