O que você irá fazer

  • The Project Manager will be accountable to deliver projects to Contract requirements, cost, quality and EHS requirements while maintaining Customer Satisfaction.
  • These projects require stakeholder management expertise, complex planning and coordination, leadership, and contract management, including of subcontractors and partners.
  • Job Description Essential Responsibilities Serve as the GE Vernova representative and focal point for the customer on the project, owning the customer relationship for the project duration and driving customer issue resolution.
  • Own project execution, including cross-functional coordination of engineering, procurement, shipping logistics, field/ outage execution and performance demonstration.
  • Provide Project Leadership, effectively managing and facilitating cross-functional GE Vernova teams to ensure on time delivery, contract deliverables fulfilment, and margin attainment/ enhancement.
  • Manage key stakeholders and 3rd party subcontractors.
  • Understand and implement Contract Terms & Conditions.
  • Manage project financials: price, cost, forecasts, margin, invoicing, and receivables, manage project risk/improvement, and participate in Margin Reviews.
  • Drive project schedule; work with Project Planner/Scheduler on schedule creation and management.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Escalate risks and issues as needed for resolution.
  • Actively manage project changes with the Customer and project team, following the change management process.
  • Maintain Project Management system with current scope, schedule, financials, risks, etc.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Provide project status updates and lead Project Reviews as required.
  • Capture and report project best practices/ lessons learned and Cost-of-Poor Quality cases.
  • Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited college or university and/or minimum of 8 years of industrial field execution experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Power Generation/ Oil & Energy industry Obtain Gas Power Services PMO Project Manager Qualification within 21 months of assignment including successful training, passing a review board, and obtaining the Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Maintain PMO Project Manager Qualification status through ongoing training and recertification as required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel Desired Characteristics Demonstrated project management skills and passion for Project Management.
  • Skilled at leading and influencing cross functional team members in a matrix organization.
  • Power plant technical proficiency Strong commitment to EHS culture Proficiency in French is a plus Skilled Communicator; professional and tactful in oral and written communications with multiple GE functions/levels and with the Customer; applies good judgment on frequency and detail of communication.
  • Confident yet humble.
  • Ability to tactfully ask questions to create clarity and transparency on projects.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively switch-task and manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to quickly respond to and manage project changes.
  • Motivated to plan and lead team as well as to manage project administration.
  • Appetite for learning PM processes and tools, as well as CM&U products and technology updates.
  • Ability to set realistic objectives, accurately appraise situations, detect risks and issues, and collaborate with GE Vernova internal teams, subcontractors and customer to find win-win solutions.
  • Embraces and demonstrates sensitivity to culture of customer and internal team members.
  • Experience interpreting or applying Contract terms & conditions and binding agreements.
  • Understanding of GE Vernova financial processes, revenue recognition, costs, margin, and quarterly forecasting.
  • Understanding of project scheduling; ability to manage critical path activities to meet outage date.
  • Direct customer-facing experience.
  • Project Management Leadership Program (PMLP) Graduate, or other Project Management training.
