  • Role reports to: Oral Care R&D Manager Travel %: 10% What you will do The Senior Scientist Oral Care LatAm is responsible for conducting research projects, analyzing data, making technical decisions, and ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • You will work towards the development of new scientific concepts and technologies, continuously improving materials, processes, and procedures, and accurately recording and retaining project information: Key Responsibilities Coordinate and execute, working in partnership with manufacturing plant, engineering, source, quality, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute research plans and experiments to support end-to-end process launch for New/Existing Products and Commercial Innovation of Oral Care products in Latin America.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mouthwashes product development.
  • Conduct research and development projects independently using established and novel technology while applying consumer insights.
  • Actively interact with Marketing, QA, Supply Chain, Medical & Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure effective execution of product development projects.
  • Represent R&D in multi-functional teams and ensure compliance with Quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate technical cross-functional teams to develop recommendations for medium complex issues.
  • Design and execute multiple product development projects simultaneously, translating business needs into concrete R&D deliverables, according to the agreed brief and consumer needs, attending claim requirements, cost targets within budget and timeline.
  • Support the assessment and development of new scientific concepts and technologies.
  • Analyze and interpret data, drawing conclusions, and arriving at timely technical decisions.
  • Develop claims and demos to translate technical attributes into consumer benefits.
  • Work in partnership with suppliers to identify and develop innovations to feed future pipeline for New/Existing Products and Commercial Innovation.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • What we are looking for Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Biochemistry or related areas.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a related scientific field.
  • Background in product development and formulation.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Advanced English is required.
  • Desired Qualifications Demonstrated ability to identify, assess and develop new scientific concepts and technologies.
  • Experience in continuous improvement of materials, processes, products and/or scientific procedures.
  • Ability to make timely technical decisions based on data analysis and interpretation.
