O que você irá fazer

  • The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product and development teams to drive quality throughout the entire software lifecycle.
  • This role involves defining test strategies / plans, developing and executing test cases, and building automation scripts all of which ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • The Senior QA Engineer will also analyze system performance and contribute to ongoing automation efforts to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.

  • ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to fully understand project requirements and ensure that test plans, methods, and strategies will ensure that delivered software meets or exceeds expectationsDrive the successful validation of large-scale systems - create test plans, cases, and strategies, and drive the quality assurance processesDevelop intelligent and efficient testing strategies to dramatically increase the ratio of internally found defects versus customer-reported defectsDesign, develop, and maintain automation tests using the chosen frameworksPlan and perform functional, E2E, and regression testing, keeping pace with the Agile team, and reporting and finding issuesProvide test summary reports that communicate key quality indicators, risks, and mitigations to leadershipAccurately estimate testing requirements for input into planning effortsEnhance the test case library to increase test case coverageStrive to ensure quality releases of software with no production downs and / or critical impediments to usersProvide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineersRequired ExperienceExcellent English communication and collaboration skills5+ years of Quality Assurance Engineering experience working with web applications and / or SaaS applications in an agile / scrum environment with a strong focus on automation2+ years of experience working with automation frameworks to automate UI and API tests using TypeScript and / or Java such as Cucumber, Cypress, Webdriver, Playwright, and KarateExperience building and maintaining not only the tests themselves but also the infrastructure that enables the testsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailFluent in SQL and relational databases, including experience testing relational database-backed applicationsFamiliar with CI / CD : Github Actions preferredExperience with performance testing and pressure testingMotivation to achieve - must be self-directed with a high degree of initiativeDesired ExperienceUniversity degree or equivalent education (technical or engineering degree is optimal)Others : Postman, Amazon S3, Mailtrap, Sentry, TestRailAdditional InformationKnowing your ideas are heard and matter think big!You get to own your job and be recognized for your contributionsWork with smart and creative peopleMaking mistakes is human.
