PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES As a Product Expert who is part of our SAP S/4HANA Product Success and Cloud Co-innovation (PSCC) team, you will transform our market and accelerate our momentum for our Cloud products.
Our team is responsible for the execution of our strategy, scope, and the complete customer experience for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Public Edition.
You will have impact and contact by bridging between our customer demand, our sales priorities, and our Product definition and development units.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES You will collaborate with our customers, Field Sales, field Services, Partner organization, Product teams, and Development teams across SAP to: Keep track of your customer engagements and work with Customers, Services, and Partners to assess and prioritize requests during the implementation of S/4HANA in the Americas Region.
Help safeguard the setup of implementation projects of S/4HANA by supporting and enabling the Americas Regional teams and roles on managing customer expectations beyond existing rolling 2 semester roadmaps.
Manage customer individual demand for S/4HANA in a regional setup assuring one face to one customer from Product Success and Cloud Co-innovation.
Work with Product and Development teams to compile SAPs product roadmap based on customer feedback.
Be the voice of the product for Customers, Sales, and Presales by advocating solution readiness and innovations to drive adoption of S/4HANA.
Prepare and conduct expert testing on planned and future functionality of S/4HANA along with cross-functional products that will deliver the SAP Intelligent Enterprise Suite.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration (Finance, Accounting, and/or Engineering) or comparable education required.
Solid experience in developing and/or implementing and/or using SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Cloud, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Cloud, SAP S/4HANA On-Premise, SAP Business Suite (SAP ERP) and understanding of underlying functionality, architecture & technology.
Strong experience in professional software development.
Relevant working experience in the SAP environment.
Subject Matter Expert in a functional Area, like Finance, Logistics or Manufacturing.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders from cross-functional teams in multiple regions/time zones.
Ability to distill technical information fast and prepare stakeholder specific content out of it, with the business outcome in mind and customer focus.
Experience in customer-facing roles (e.
g.
Functional consultant, solution architect, support, presales).
Experience in product definition (ideally close to a Product Owner role), alternatively: Proven track record in or on collaboration with Product Development and/or Product Management and/or Solution Management.
Excellent communication and language skills in Portuguese, Spanish, and English (spoken and written).
Preferred skills Deep understanding of the Cloud architecture and SaaS model.
Experience as a Subject Matter Expert in a functional area like Logistics, Manufacturing, or Finance is a plus.
MBA or masters degree in related field is desired.
Knowledge of Business Technology Platform and understanding of Cloud platforms is a plus.
Good knowledge of Cloud principles.
Activate Methodology is a plus.
ERP Business Processes Knowledge.
Experience in co-innovation processes would be a plus.
