O que você irá fazer

  • This role is critical for ensuring operational readiness across all logistics partners and 3PLs, focused on logistics capacity planning, optimizing network utilization, based on sales forecasts and business inputs.
  • The goal is to translate demand forecasts into actionable capacity, staffing, and cost plans, both for regular and peak periods, securing performance, cost, and service-level targets.
  • Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the main liaison between Business teams (S&OP, Commercial, Warehouse) and Logistics Operations teams (First Mile, Last Mile, Reverse, Cross Border).
  • Develop and manage logistics capacity planning across First Mile, Last Mile, Reverse, and Cross Border operations, ensuring cost control and performance optimization in volume allocation across different 3PLs in South America and ensure the capacities are adequately prepared to absorb fluctuations in demand.
  • Align with customs clearance center operations to optimize labor and resource capacity planning based on volume forecasts, ensuring cost and performance targets are met.
  • Analyze real volumes and forecast deviations to refine planning models and improve prediction accuracy.
  • Build and implement new planning methodologies to enhance logistics and transportation forecasting accuracy.
  • Optimize capacity, lead times, and costs to improve logistics efficiency.
  • Drive solutions by tracking key performance metrics, analyzing capacity constraints, and collaborating with multiple teams to maximize SLA achievements while reducing defects and operational costs.
  • Conduct and lead regular reviews of volume allocation across 3PLs, ensuring stability in the logistics network, performance improvements, and cost reduction/control.
  • Implement local logistics planning strategies to achieve cost reductions, enhance efficiency, and ensure demand-driven capacity allocation while avoiding resource waste.
  • Consolidate planning inputs to build robust short- and long-term projections for cost, capacity and performance indicators.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis on cost structure, share shifts, and network optimization across logistics providers and channels.
  • Propose and implement scalable planning frameworks and governance routines to improve proactiveness and agility across the supply chain.
  • Track and report on key planning KPIs, ensuring compliance with SLAs and cost targets.
  • RequirementsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Engineering, Economics, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (mandatory); Spanish and Chinese are considered a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics planning, demand forecasting, or S&OP-related roles.
  • Solid background in logistics operations, preferably in e-commerce environments.
  • Experience in logistics planning in other marketplaces is a plus.
  • Strong experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), especially in performance and cost-sensitive operations.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to build models and translate data into strategic insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL for planning and analysis; knowledge of Python is a plus.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
  • Familiarity with peak-season planning and scalable logistics operations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present analyses and planning models to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
