O que você irá fazer

  • The mission of the Legal Department is to provide accurate, pragmatic, and actionable legal advice to all functions and businesses in order to enable business success, prevent and mitigate risk exposure, and protect the Groups reputation.
  • The Legal Advisor will be part of the HQ legal team and provide global legal support out of the offices in Latin America on all aspects of the businesses and operations of the group carried out worldwide, with a regional focus on LATAM region and Spain.
  • MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide day-to-day legal advice and support on all transactions and legal issues across the various businesses and functions around the world, with a regional focus on LATAM, North America and Spain, including: Ensuring compliance with local companies laws and corporate governance, preparing and supervising filings of all corporate documentation, when required with appointed external counsel Regular reporting to and consultation with Legal HQ on regional corporate governance compliance Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements and related documents, when required also extending beyond the regional focus areas Advising and assisting support functions such as Finance, HR and IT with drafting and reviewing agreements and any other documents, as and when required In coordination with the Chief Legal Officer (or delegate), actively handling claims, supervising and managing litigations, instructing and assisting external counsels in charge of litigations Assisting with regulatory advice and obtention of any regulatory approvals, negotiating with regulators and stakeholders when required Assisting with specific or complex projects such as M&A, post-acquisition integration, insurance coverage, intellectual property, and data privacy matters Ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable laws Preparing contract templates in both Spanish and English, providing legal training to other functions QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE To apply, please ensure that you meet all of the following requirements.
  • Educational Qualification: Law degrees (MUST) from reputable universities both in civil law and common law jurisdictions, admitted to practice law (Bar) (MUST) Experience: Minimum 8 years relevant experience both in a law firm and a multinational company (MUST ).
  • Previous experience in trading companies or in the trading related environment is a plus Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (MUST) , any other language is a plus
