  • The new PAPI implementation is built with Java and the Spring framework, following a microservice architecture for scalability and performance.
  • The Java Developer role is a senior position focused on designing, developing, and enhancing PAPI.
  • Candidates are expected to write clean, efficient code and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and DevOps, to meet business and technical standards.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Spring, and microservices, along with mentoring skills for junior engineers.

  • Experience youll bringDesign and develop new applications.
  • Identify and implement CI/CD methodology and philosophies for existing and new applications and services.
  • Expand the teams knowledge base on automation.
  • Minimum Required Qualifications for ConsiderationBachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Solid development experience in Java 8 (or above) or similar language (C#).
  • Good experience in automating Cloud-based applications and services.
  • Experience with Multi-cloud solutions - Azure, Google, Amazon.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: AWS Cloud Formation, Kubernetes (K8S), TerraForm, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, ADO, and Puppet.
  • Solid experience in Java 8 or above.
  • Good experience developing infrastructure as code.
  • Experience working on agile teams to deliver software iteratively.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools like Confluence and JIRA.
  • Experience with designing and architecting applications.
  • Experience with Linux, containerization and container orchestration like Kubernetes.
  • Experience with logging, metrics and monitoring tools like DataDog and Splunk.
  • Experience with the fuel business and transaction processing.
