  • InterMoor is currently looking to add an experienced Senior Engineer to their team based in Rio de Janeiro on a full time, permanent basis.
  • The Senior Engineer will support engineering and operations department with the delivery of engineering projects across the InterMoor range of services in compliance with the appropriate technical, company and industry standards.
  • The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

  • DutiesDesign and analysis of mooring systems for drilling platforms and permanent production unitsDevelopment and verification of procedures for the installation of mooring systems and subsea equipmentOffshore support and monitoring during offshore/installation activitiesIssuance of executive project reportsMaterial inventory: Control of records relating to the requisition, receipt, storage, distribution and dispatch of materials and equipmentParticipate in the company''s HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Programs (Ex: Safety Meetings, Participate in operations risk assessments, etc.
  • ); Ensure that alloperations are carried out within InterMoor''s Health, Safety and Environmental Management SystemRequiredDegree in Engineering5 years experience in mooring design and mooring operations, and offshore experience highly preferredFluent English speaking, reading, and writingAutocad, Office package, Orcaflex or any mooring analysis softwareOral Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situationsWritten Communication: Write clearly and informativelyAbility to work in a team (good interpersonal relationships)Ability to adapt to new situationsAvailability for national and international travelPerformance in HSE (health, safety and environmental) management, including work permit, risk assessment, basic understanding of safety, health and environmental standards#J-18808-Ljbffr
