O que você irá fazer

  • Both market sectors require similar engineering skill sets, and our breadth of experience in offshore structures and environments allows us to provide expertise at all stages of a project: feasibility and concept design, detailed design, procurement management, fabrication support, installation support, monitoring, integrity management, asset life extension and decommissioning.
  • 2H Offshore is looking to add a Senior Engineer to their expanding team in Rio de Janeiro.
  • As a Senior Engineer, you will be part of or lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams (of typically up to 5 people) across a wide variety of projects, encompassing engineering design and analysis at the conceptual, feasibility, FEED, detailed design, and/or installation stages of riser and conductor projects.
  • You will take a leading role on these projects and develop strong and close working relationships with our engineering team and our clients founded on a personal approach and technical excellence.
  • You will take joint responsibility to lead, support and develop engineers to deliver the technical excellence 2H expect across a wide variety of riser and renewable projects.
  • The successful candidate will be based in the Rio de Janeiro area.

  • Duties - Report writing - Proposal writing - Communication of technical results and conclusions to other members of the team and clients through meetings, presentations and written reports - Leadership and project management of scopes of workRequired - Degree in relevant engineering degree (mechanical, civil, petroleum, chemical) - Typically, 3+ years of subsea engineering experience, but other engineering backgrounds will be considered - Minimum 3 years experience in the oil and gas market - Fluent English - Track record of undertaking either riser analysis, mooring analysis, conductor analysis, installation analysis or similar in OrcaFlex or Flexcom - Experience with:oDrilling, completion or production riser systems (flexible, rigid or hybrid)oFloating wind power cables or mooring analysisoDesign or integrity management as a differentiator - Ability and enthusiasm to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision - Ability to work independently, strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation as well as collaboratively within a team - Capability to oversee and review dynamic structural based design work, interpreting results to form sound engineering judgements and recommendations - Excellent communicator, in both written and verbal forms, with highly effective inter-personal skills supported by good attention to detail - Desire and ambition to achieve both technical and personal excellence by committing to personal and professional development #J-18808-Ljbffr
