O que você irá fazer

  • Our client has R&D and manufacturing operations in The Netherlands.
  • Luxoft is currently seeking to augment the Development & Engineering Department with a talented software engineer to design and implement embedded software for some of the highest precision systems in the world.
  • Responsibilities : As a software engineer on this project, you will work on Linux server applications for metrology components and complex algorithms software.
  • You will collaborate with electrical, mechatronic, and system engineers to define software requirements.
  • The candidate will be part of a software team working on a multidisciplinary project.
  • Main responsibilities include: Understanding the current embedded software implementation.
  • Working closely with Functional Engineers to clarify requirements and translate them into high-quality software.
  • Implementing new requirements by modifying existing baselines.
  • Creating and maintaining design documentation based on requirements.
  • Qualifying and creating tests for new implementations and maintaining testing environments.
  • Issue resolution and troubleshooting based on field or factory feedback.
  • Evaluating technical issues, risks, dependencies, planning, and estimation.
  • The software release for a client machine consists of 40 million lines of code.
  • Client SW teams operate in various modes such as Agile and SAFe.
  • Mandatory Skills: Senior engineer with at least 6+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in C / C++ for application development (70% in C).
  • Embedded C / C++: understanding and maintaining legacy code, adding new features while adhering to established architecture.
  • Version control with command line tools such as Git, Clear Case, and SVN.
  • Experience with Embedded Linux: familiarity with command line tools, makefiles, git, shell, and Python scripting.
  • Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, CI/CD, and GIT.
  • Education: Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent.
  • Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience or willingness to learn Python.
  • Shell scripting skills.
  • Previous experience with Agile SAFe / Scrum methodologies.
