Atlântica, 1020 - Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro, 22010-000 Position Overview A Second Cook is responsible for the production and organization of the mise en place in the kitchen and assists the First Cook.
What will I be doing? As a Second Cook, your responsibilities include: Producing mise en place for the kitchen Setting up orders for sales points Ensuring organization and hygiene in the kitchen Preparing food using appropriate techniques under supervision Storing and checking the validity of food Assisting other departments when necessary Transmitting shift information during handovers Performing additional duties as assigned by the supervisor What are we looking for? We seek a candidate who: Communicates effectively in writing and verbally Demonstrates attention and concentration Works well in a team Shows interest in developing within the company Can work under pressure Preferred qualifications include: Food safety training Experience in industrial kitchens Basic knowledge of food hygiene What is it like to work for Hilton?
