  • Hydro is strengthening its Cyber Security Services organization.
  • Consequently, Cyber Security Services/Security Engineering seeks a proficient Security Services Architect to lead the formalized security architecture discipline for the Hydro group.
  • This role involves implementing Security Architecture to plan and design security systematically.
  • The architect will translate cyber risks into security requirements and guide the design and implementation of security controls.
  • Collaboration will be essential, working with enterprise architects, cyber security teams, CISO, security solution architects, engineers, SOC teams, risk managers, and application owners.
  • The position reports to the Manager of Security Engineering within Cyber Security Services.
  • Responsibilities: Own and ensure the operational effectiveness of the Security Architecture discipline.
  • Define, prototype, and develop security reference architectures, methodologies, models, and controls in alignment with various teams and the CISO organization.
  • Lead the adoption and implementation of relevant cyber security frameworks and standards.
  • Translate security policies into technical control frameworks and blueprints; socialize these across the organization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and security representative on architecture boards and within security teams.
  • Develop security standards and drive continuous improvement based on strategy, operational feedback, and project insights.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of security architectures and solutions, from conceptualization to operation and management.
  • Qualifications: Degree in IT or related fields.
  • Specialization in information security, including software and infrastructure (e.

  • , log management, vulnerability management, firewalls).
  • Requirements: Extensive experience with technology and IT security.
  • Desirable knowledge of OT/ICS security.
  • Experience working in large international environments and managing virtual teams.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strategic, results-oriented with an analytical mindset.
  • Leadership, facilitation, and orchestration skills.
  • Familiarity with agile digital product development approaches.
  • Experience with security audits.
  • Knowledge of ISO security standards (ISO27001, ISO22301) or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with international security frameworks (NIST, SABSA, TOGAF) or equivalent.

  • Proven ability to implement security policies and controls across organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
