  • What role you will play in our team As a member of a global SAP Platform Services team, the SAP Cloud Engineer is responsible for: Implementing and supporting SAP BTP - Business Technology Platform (SaaS, PaaS) solutions and SAP SaaS systems following ExxonMobils cloud strategy, change management, and security & control standards.
  • Working as a member of a global Agile team, with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Solution Architects, and fellow Cloud Engineers.
  • Ensuring that our processes and technical design documents are well-documented and kept evergreen.
  • What you will do Evaluate, design, and build new SAP BTP solutions.
  • Execute Proof of Concepts for new SAP BTP solutions and/or functionalities.
  • Support SAP BTP solutions through cloud administration activities.
  • Provide regular system maintenance services.
  • Plan and execute system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Perform capacity and performance monitoring including health checks for SAP cloud components.
  • Review SAP BTP platform-level updates and apply accordingly.
  • About you We are looking for a SAP Cloud Platform Engineer with strong ownership, accountability, and stewardship skills to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A proactive learner who can quickly acquire new skills in applications and business process support, youll also collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • Knowledge of SAP BTP or other major cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS providers (AWS, Azure), cloud security concepts (Role based access control), and network security and cloud connectivity.
  • Experience with Modern Authentication (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML) and Microsoft EntraID.
  • Knowledge of API and integration, application development and/or programming experience/training.
  • Knowledge of IaaC and scripting (Terraform) and Continuous Integration and Delivery (GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with Windows Server environments.
  • Fluent/Advanced English.
  • Preferred Qualifications High level of Python knowledge.
  • Some level of SAP experience.
