  • About the RoleThis role will focus on the acquisition and retention of customers for ILTM Latin America and ILTM North America.
  • Responsibilities:15% of your time/responsibilityCommercial Growth:Develop an understanding of the shows market, its vendors, and needs.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers, understanding their businesses and marketing needs, and be recognized as part of the industry.
  • Sell to senior-level prospects and customers, balancing face-to-face and telephone sales to achieve new business and increase revenues from existing customers.
  • Manage floor plans and allocate stand space in conjunction with the Sales Team Manager.
  • Effectively manage CRM campaigns across multiple events.
  • Accurately report progress through weekly sales reports and forecast revenue projections to aid planning.
  • Sell exhibition space, digital products, and sponsorships to current and new exhibitors, via phone and face-to-face as needed.
  • Attend Reed Exhibitions and competitor events domestically and internationally to maintain relationships, expand the database, and prospect for new business.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team Manager to meet sales targets.
  • Use data to inform decision-making and build insights into client and industry performance.
  • Promote a suite of products that help clients achieve objectives, including participation at events, digital products, sponsorship, and branding opportunities.
  • Develop expertise in show markets, vendors, and industry needs.
  • 25% of your time/responsibilityNew Business Acquisition:Understand the importance of attracting new companies to participate and engage with our brands.
  • Attend industry, competitor, and trade association events to gather market intelligence, maintain and create relationships, and prospect for new business.
  • Identify and engage potential exhibitors and sponsors, leveraging existing networks and building new relationships.
  • 20% of your time/responsibilityCustomer Optimization:Act as a trusted advisor, sharing industry knowledge and best practices to inspire customers.
  • Engage clients both face-to-face and digitally, multithreading relationships to understand their value drivers across various dimensions.
  • Use data to demonstrate the value of participation, identify opportunities, and increase order values.
  • 20% of your time/responsibilityCollaboration:Be a team player with strong communication skills, committed to an inclusive environment.
  • Work across functions such as operations, marketing, finance, and branding to deliver value.
  • Manage CRM campaigns effectively and ensure compliance with policies and regulations, promoting ethical practices.
  • 10% of your time/responsibilityPerformance & Development:Ensure accurate recording of customer interactions in Salesforce and maintain a reliable pipeline for reporting.
  • Seek opportunities for personal growth, be open to feedback, and reflect on performance KPIs.
  • 10% of your time/responsibilityIndustry Expert:Develop expertise in macro and micro industry trends across geographies/industries.
  • Stay ahead of future trends and emerging technologies, representing RX Global at industry events.
  • Attend global competitor events to maintain relationships and prospect for new business.

  • Qualifications / Experience:Experience in tourism and hospitality is desirable.
  • Exhibition/media sales experience is desirable.
  • Fluent English skills required.
