  • We are hiring a **Risk Recoveries Analyst**.
  • This person will actively contribute to the overall reduction in bad debt across all products; willdefine, implement, and maintain an effective strategy to minimise losses with strong controls and the recovery of losses utilising card scheme rules, alternative payment provider terms and where necessary through collection efforts.
  • **This roles is Hybrid, requiring presenciality to our offices in Sao Paulo.
  • **Job duties and Responsibilities:- Support end to end dispute cycle within permitted timeframes on all chargeback and claims received.
  • - Collate, review and process supporting evidence to recover funds.
  • - Report resolutions, refunds and adjustments weekly to Finance.
  • - Subject matter expert on scheme and provider rules.
  • - Identify, assess and report on negative balances and subsequent recoveries.
  • - Investigation and recovery of funds where possible on prepaid card fraud claims.
  • - Collaborate with other stakeholders to solve complex claim and settlement discrepancies(Support, Legal, Financial Partners, etc.
  • )- Third party collection efforts with external agencies, merchants and partners where appropriate.
  • - Detect and escalate potential control or system issues that could result in unnecessary losses.
  • - Write and review operating procedures for new payment method providers or departmentinitiatives.
  • - Assist team members in complex cases and end-customer queries.
  • - Educate Merchants and other stakeholders on the departments operating procedures.
  • Experience and Qualifications:- Strong written communication skills in Portuguese and English, utilizing proper grammar and punctuation.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • - Computer skills: good knowledge of Microsoft office & Excel.
  • - Detail-oriented and an inquisitive nature.
  • - Ability to handle challenging situations in a professional manner.
  • - Familiarity with customer support systems and practices.
