O que você irá fazer

  • The Receivable Specialist is mainly responsible for thecollection of all accounts receivable aligned to a portfolio of customers and thereconciliation of these customer accounts.
  • This role is integral to the success ofthe Company''s cash flow objectives, attaining company Accounts Receivables percentcurrent & days sales outstanding targets for accounts receivable and ininfluencing customers payments as a priority.
  • Within this role there is a stronginteraction with customers and key internal partners such as commercial, customerservice and finance teams.
  • Responsibilities / DutiesCommunicates periodically account statements to customers.
  • Performs proactive pre-collection of near-due invoices with customers and givesvisibility to internal areas on collection status.
  • Performs collections of past-due invoices, leads root cause analysis, andimplements corrective actions with the customer and internal Dow partners toensure timeliness of future payments.
  • Manages customer account reconciliations to deliver accurate financial statementsfor Dow and the customer.
  • Investigates and resolves customer payment discrepancies; works closely withcustomer and internal departments to determine corrective actions.
  • Issues customer sales adjustments according to business standards/agreements.
  • Manages customers- orders that are being held on credit block.
  • Applies customer payments and performs offsets.
  • Leads and/or participates in projects to improve Dow-s working capital, increaseautomation levels, improve Customer Experience & Employee Experience, andimplement process improvement initiatives.
  • ExperienceBachelor''s degree required.
  • Accounting, Finance, Business Management and BusinessAdministration degrees are preferred.
  • LANGUAGES:Spanish (fluent), Portuguese (intermediate), English (intermediate)Work experience on finance, accounting, or customer service.
  • Interest to develop a career in Finance.
  • YOUR SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES INCLUDE:SAP & reporting tools.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong customer service mindset and multi-tasking skills.
