O que você irá fazer

  • The role identifies and rectifies defects, ensures adherence to established quality standards, and contributes to the overall improvement of the software development process.
  • The role involves various activities aimed at preventing and detecting issues, thereby enhancing the end user experience.
  • The role creates and executes comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications.
  • Responsibilities Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code for end-user applications, systems software, and firmware running on hardware, local, networked, and Internet-based platforms; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
  • Codes and programs test scripts, automation, and integration activities based on specific test requirements.
  • Conducts functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to validate software functionality.
  • Automates testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and repeatability.
  • Monitors and enforces adherence to established coding standards, design guidelines, and best practices.
  • Monitors software performance and conducts load and stress testing to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
  • Prepares and maintains QA-related documentation, including test plans, test matrices, and testing reports.
  • Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software applications design and development.
  • Participates as a member of project team of other software quality assurance engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.
  • Supports priority projects with direction, maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and sharing information via standardized reports.
  • Education & Experience Recommended Four-year Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 0-2 years of work experience, preferably in software quality assurance, test harnesses and QA focused tools, or a related field.
