Job Description What you will do: Serves as liaison between us and the client during a project ending with the installation and acceptance of capitalized equipment, enterprise software systems, or system integration or consulting projects/engagements.
  • You may work at client site on a day-to-day or periodic basis, ensuring customer satisfaction of information technology solutions by managing the details of overall project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Typically uses more project management skills than technical skills.
  • In this position you will report to the Solutions Manager, Brazil and will be based in São Paulo - SP in a hybrid working modality.
  • This is an individual contributor role with no direct report to it.
  • Functional: Proficiency with Project Management functions such as customer interface, project budget maintenance, project schedule maintenance, and project manpower planning.
  • Able to develop project plans (budgets, schedules, and plans) for complex projects.
  • Able to gain ability to oversee complex projects with high-level quality requirements.
  • Proficient in working with engineering leaders to implement project requirements into hardware and software.
  • Experience with IT and OT project solutions and comfortable working with customers and sales in this space.
  • Leading: Commercial project achievement and leadership in the information and control space.
  • Be able to work within a technical team environment, managing a geographically dispersed engineering and project delivery organization, and making effective use of collaboration tools and remote management skills.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects successfully and simultaneously.
  • Projects could range from small ($5,000) to medium ($500,000) and have a lifecycle of 4 to 40 weeks plus.
  • Manages and reports all financial aspects of assigned projects.
  • Interpersonal: Able to work with internal and external customers for business development and implementation strategies.
  • Excellent collaborative skills and ability to effectively work in a team setting.
  • May apply complex and advanced project management and scheduling techniques.
  • Business: Understands the nature of the IT/OT industry and the available market.
  • Strong understanding of financial aspects of project management, percentage completion, revenue recognition, and project accounting.
  • Responsibility in every aspect of the business with an uncompromising approach on ethics and transparency, internally and externally.
  • May participate in the development of the business team strategic plan.
  • The Essentials - You Will Have: Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Requires a minimum of 8 years previous experience with direct customer contact and project management.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years previous experience with complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Advanced/Fluent English level for daily interaction (listening, speaking, writing, and reading).
  • The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Willingness to work towards Project Management Professional (PMP) certification within one year if not already PMP certified.
  • Be able to work in an environment where constructive feedback from others is encouraged and in the office as part of a project team.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays to meet customer project commitments.
  • Formal PMI-based Project Management training.
  • Typically possesses industry, application, or technology knowledge relevant to assigned business or geography.
  • Experience and knowledge of drive systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
