O que você irá fazer

  • Manage the Medium Voltage Drive product range.
  • Mentor the power electronic team to develop technical capabilities.
  • Job Description Essential Responsibilities Provide power electronic solutions for products & projects.
  • Improve products to meet market requirements.
  • Review product designs and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of detailed designs and provide technical support for manufacturing and testing.
  • Support installation and commissioning processes with detailed designs and technical assistance.
  • Manage drive range extension based on Development (NTI/NPI) programs.
  • Lead cost reduction activities within the power electronics family, especially MV Drive.
  • Assist the commercial team in proposing solutions for customer applications.
  • Support the team in resolving technical issues during current projects, equipment testing, or in-service platforms.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis and Design FMEA.
  • Collaborate with other GE Power Conversion units to share best practices and transfer knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and customer health and safety regulations.
  • KPIs OTD On Time Delivery (issue documents by the baseline date).
  • FTY First Time Yield (verification before issue).
  • RNC Non-conformities related to product design and application.
  • BoM Cost of Bill of Materials.
  • Qualifications/Requirements Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent with a record of continuous professional development.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Experience in Medium Voltage Drive or Power Electronics design, application, testing, or commissioning.
  • Knowledge of HIL (Hardware in Loop) testing.
  • Proficiency in simulation tools and correlated software.
  • Deep knowledge of electrical machine control systems (AC, Synchronous, DC).
  • Desired Characteristics Experience in project leadership and management training.
  • Experience in Power Electronics engineering within relevant industries.
  • System integration experience in multi-discipline projects.
  • Leadership experience as a people manager.
  • On-site commissioning experience for large projects.
  • Industrial applications experience for Medium Voltage Drives, including metal industries and mining.
  • Personal Qualities Ability to work with multi-disciplinary international teams.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills across various projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing for top management.
  • Strong organizational skills.
