The successful candidate will head up development initiatives while ensuring the stability of critical infrastructure.
Primary Duties Architect, develop, and maintain PHP-based applications.
Design and deliver RESTful APIs to facilitate external and internal system integration.
Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new product features.
Promote high coding standards via peer reviews and principles like SOLID and Domain-Driven Design.
Provide hands-on support for production systems and processes.
Troubleshoot application issues and deliver improvements.
Maintain and fine-tune relational databases, especially MySQL.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams and process flows.
Offer support for essential workflows, including EDI systems.
Lead the development team in meeting deliverables with high code quality.
Mentor junior and mid-level developers to foster technical excellence.
Act as a delegate for the IT Manager, providing operational coverage.
Required Experience & Skills Minimum of 5 years in full-stack PHP development roles.
Advanced knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Slim, Laravel, or Symfony.
Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, database modeling, and SOLID design principles.
Practical experience working with Git, RESTful APIs, CI / CD tools, JIRA, and Confluence.
Strong analytical mindset, clear communicator, and effective team collaborator.
