  • Lukes is starting a Level II pediatric trauma center at St.
  • Lukes Childrens Hospital Bethlehem Campus and is searching for a Pediatric Trauma Program Medical Director to help develop this new trauma program.
  • The candidate will be critical in the development and success of this program.
  • The pediatric trauma program will have the full support of the Networks Adult Level I Trauma Center at St.
  • Lukes University Hospital Bethlehem Campus.
  • Candidates must be Board Certified in Pediatric Surgery with a minimum of four years of experience in the care of the acute trauma patient and able to demonstrate outstanding clinical skills.
  • Key Job Responsibilities: Oversight of the development of new pediatric trauma program in conjunction with St.
  • Lukes trauma team.
  • Participate in trauma strategic planning and the development of new initiatives to grow services within the department.
  • Participate in provider recruitment initiatives.
  • In collaboration with service line leadership, evaluate the departments financial performance and identify initiatives to improve.
  • Review and analyze quality and service metrics; develop and implement processes to improve.
  • Participate in Network education events and training of new providers.
