The Centre itself provides a safe and welcoming space for the diverse mix of people and cultures that make up Possilpark.
It supports local events and celebrations, and works closely with the local community to set up and provide funded, supported space, as well as affordable meeting rooms.
The Trustees are looking for an experienced manager who can motivate a team, monitor, direct and evaluate operations within the Centre, help to create an atmosphere of congenial camaraderie and be supportive to staff, service users, trustees and stakeholders.

By joining Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) as a Health Defence Coordinator you can be the difference between people just surviving and really living.
You will be part of Scotlands leading charity providing support to people at risk of developing, or living with chest, heart and stroke conditions to live life to the full again.
Our services form a nationwide network of local support groups, nurses, volunteers and one-to-one support teams helping people live a healthier life and supporting families adjust to life with a heart or lung condition or after a stroke.
The Health Defence Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of the Health Defence programme covering the Glasgow area.
The role includes delivering health checks; healthy lifestyle workshops; and supporting lifestyle change to reduce the risk of our conditions in local communities, particularly where there is a high prevalence of health inequalities and deprivation.
The role will also involve the development and line management of volunteer roles to optimise our reach.
The Health Defence Coordinator will also be expected to support integration of Health Defence across CHSS while working closely with colleagues in the services directorate to enable CHSS activities where appropriate.

To continue this work, we are seeking a dynamic and creative Impact and Evaluation Manager to undertake and support impact planning at individual, programme and organisation level, providing practicable support to enable and evaluate impact and help embed a culture of evaluation impact and knowledge exchange.
You will have previous experience of developing and supporting research impact and knowledge exchange activity, and of reporting on research activity.
You will have strong organisational, analytical and communication skills, and an ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the implementation of an organisation-wide approach to evaluating ALLIANCE activity and its impact.
Work collaboratively with ALLIANCE colleagues and external consultants to develop and refine outcome maps and suitable evidence data-gathering tools.
Support ALLIANCE colleagues to gather accurate and meaningful data linked to our activities, programmes and strategic priorities.
Work with colleagues and partners to develop and embed a consistent approach to evaluation.
Ensure evaluation processes are used effectively to ensure that they provide accurate data and regular, meaningful reports.
Analyse, interpret and communicate monitoring and evaluation information to colleagues, external partners and funders.
Work with ALLIANCE colleagues to create a range of robust and accessible evaluation reports and other outputs from data gathered including the Annual Report and a mid-term review of our strategic priorities.
Support to teams to gather data and develop impact case studies for reporting and communications activities.
Any other duties as dictated by the evolving nature of the ALLIANCEs monitoring and evaluation work.
Any other reasonable duty as required by senior management.

Provide effective front line management and development of a staff team.

Ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place.
You will be able to demonstrate: Experience working with adults and/or children with learning disabilities, mental health, addictions, epilepsy, autism and physical support needs.
Experience in using and developing person centred planning approaches.
Strong communication skills to encourage and motivate staff to deliver high quality support.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload whilst working under pressure.
SVQ3 Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
Shift working including evenings and weekends is a requirement of the post.

Lendrick Muir is set in 120 acres of grounds with accommodation for up to 150 guests.

Purpose: To support the Business Manager and administration team in ensuring the smooth operation of all administrative functions at Lendrick Muir.
The Assistant Business Manager will play a vital role as the first point of contact for anyone interested in visiting the centre, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who comes through the doors of the centre - teachers, guests, suppliers or contractors, but primarily each young person attending the event.
Key Responsibilities: To support the Business Manager as part of the Administration team, ensuring the smooth operation of all administrative functions at Lendrick Muir.
To deputise, where necessary, for the Business Manager, by managing the administration of the Centre.
To line manage the administrator.
Working with the administrator to provide admin of residential bookings and day events.
Participate fully in the life and ministry of the Lendrick Muir Centre and the wider Scripture Union Scotland organisation.
Who we are looking for: We are seeking applicants who have experience of working in an office environment and have a proven track record in excellent communication skills in a variety of media, including telephone, written and inter-personal.
Given the varying needs of the centre, it''s important that the successful applicant is able to demonstrate customer care, diplomacy and adaptability with a wide range of people.
Good organisational skills are essential.
For this post, it is important that you are committed to SU Scotlands ethos, working principles and vision and are able to demonstrate this through your commitment and motivation.
It is also an Occupational Requirement (Equality Act - part 1, schedule 9), that the post-holder is a committed Christian.
The successful applicant will be required to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Scheme and the appointment will be subject to a satisfactory PVG Scheme Disclosure.
