Location: São Paulo or Santos, Brazil What we expect from you: Leadership and Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and change management, encouraging innovation and the adoption of new practices within the operations team.
  • Operational Excellence: Plan and execute improvement programs focused on efficiency, quality, waste reduction, and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Alignment with Global Standards: Collaborate with global and regional teams to adapt local processes to DHLs global guidelines.
  • Compliance and Quality: Monitor and ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal standards, such as ISO certifications.
  • Technology Integration: Work with local IT teams to implement tech solutions that optimize processes and increase automation.
  • People Development: Train and develop the operations and process excellence teams, promoting a high-performance culture.
  • Key responsibilities: Design and lead continuous improvement programs to boost operational efficiency and alignment with global standards.
  • Collect feedback, requirements, and best practices from the local team and share them with global/regional teams to support process and system development.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with legal and internal policies, fostering a strong culture of quality and accountability.
  • Drive change management and engage stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of operational improvements.
  • Collaborate with tech teams to integrate digital solutions into operational workflows.
  • Evaluate internal and external operational performance using KPIs and result analyses to guide strategic decisions.
  • Manage customer service and ocean import/export operations, ensuring the implementation of SOPs aligned with customer needs.
  • Resolve issues with carriers, negotiate space allocations, and ensure the profitability of operations.
  • Lead a team of supervisors, coordinators, and analysts (both junior and senior), overseeing operational routines, customer agreements, and financial reports.
