  • Department: MarketingLocation: São Paulo / SPReporting to: Eduardo VeltroniRole: Permanent**Merchandising Manager****Position purpose**:The person in this role will be responsible for managing and ensuring efficiency of JTI investments in Merchandising in Brazil.
  • These includes Permanent POSM (Cigarette Driver), Temporary POSM (POS materials) and Consumer-focused initiatives such as Events sponsorship and Information-to-Consumer (ITC).
  • To deliver against KPIs set during planning periods, the incumbent will have the priviledge to lead a team of 25 individuals (amongst internal and external) spread accross the country, and will be responsible for their development.
  • Responsibility over budget planning & management, working closely wity Finance team whilst ensuring Marketing investment credibility towards the broader JTI organization.
  • This position requires extensive travelling and market visits, as well as establishing and nurturing excellent working relations with the Sales team and External Agency Partners.
  • **What will you do - responsabilities**:- Full accountability on ROI and efficiency of key POSM investment yearly.
  • From POSM ordering / Sales demand collection up to ensuring POSM instalation speed & capacity - ensuring speed-to-market and investment efficiency through effective budget planning and building blocks management.
  • As well, maintain flexibility to absorb any unplanned urgency driven by competitive drivers.
  • - Responsible for planning of POSM demand by Sales branch, deployment of innovative formats, production coordintation, internal distribution & storage of temporary POS materials such as Price Lists and POS Visibility Communications.
  • Working closely with Brands teams, optimal coordination of development processes is crucial to ensure efficiency and avoid write-offs.
  • As well, it is fundamental to maintain flexibility to absorb any unplanned urgencies driven by competitive drivers.
  • - Manage multi-branded ITC platform for Brazil market, currently in expansion from 25 to 60 individuals, ensuring optimal contact & conversion costs while maintaining through rotinary training an excellent tobacco knowledge within the ITC team.
  • - Manage JTI Consumer Events sponsorship in line with Brazil regulations, ensuring optimal activation, targeted adult consumers audience capturing and operational scalability to expand platform and attain even broader Awareness and Trial amongst targeted consumers.
  • - Maximize process automation to increase speed-to-market and investment efficiency, as well as ensure optimal consumer database management to drive actionable business insights from ITC interactions + investment efficiency metrics from POSM database.
  • - Recruit, train, engage and develop talents across different locations in line with business objectives and good assessment of personal potential.
  • **Who are we looking for - requirements**:**Education**:- University Degree; MBA & Master are a plus**Experience**:- Large scale FMCGs, preferabily within Trade Marketing and Merchandising- Microsoft Office suit proficiency- PowerBI knowledgeYou''ll also need:- Functional Skills- Leadership Skills- Computational Skills- Operations Planning- Financial knowledge- English mandatory, Spanish is a plus.
