About the role Responsible for integrating purchasing information, warehouse stock levels, and production material requirements to ensure a seamless flow of materials throughout the MRO process.
This person will play a key role in ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time to support production schedules and customer needs.
- Material Planning & Forecasting: Collaborate with the production and procurement teams to understand material requirements based on work orders, production schedules, and inventory levels.
Develop and maintain material planning schedules that align with production timelines and customer delivery expectations.
Monitor and analyze material usage trends to proactively adjust forecasts and material orders.
- Purchasing Integration: Work closely with the purchasing team to ensure timely procurement of materials, ensuring materials are available in advance of production needs.
Analyze supplier lead times and coordinate material purchases based on production requirements and stock levels.
- Inventory Management & Optimization: Monitor warehouse stock levels, ensuring an efficient balance of materials to avoid both shortages and excess inventory.
Recommend improvements to inventory management processes and help implement strategies to reduce waste and improve material turns.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Regularly update material availability and consumption reports, providing insights on potential supply chain risks or material shortages.
Use ERP and other planning systems to track material orders, deliveries, and consumption trends to maintain an accurate picture of supply chain status.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with warehouse, production, and quality control teams to ensure that materials meet required specifications and are available when needed for repairs and maintenance activities.
Serve as the primary liaison between the supply chain team and other departments to resolve material-related issues in a timely manner.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the material planning process and recommend changes to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve the accuracy of material availability.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain department Work experience Proven experience (3+ years) in material planning or a similar supply chain role, preferably within the MRO or aerospace industry.
Educational Bachelor''s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Technical Skills Strong understanding of inventory management, procurement processes, and ERP systems (e.
G.
, SAP, Oracle, quantum).
Advanced Excel knowledge mandatory (dynamic tables, data segmentation, macro, VBA, Procv, Procx, Somase, cont.
Ses, etc.
) Excellent analytical skills with the ability to forecast and solve material supply issues.
Advanced English mandatory Work information Location: Galeão - RJ 100% office based Full-time, staff, CLT contract
