Events Marketing Manager is responsible for setting the strategy for event operations and event marketing efforts for multiple internal teams, partnering cross-functionally with internal groups and external vendors.
Play an active role in day-to-day event management including leading the work of the team to achieve all goals within given constraints, owning complex planning elements of marquee events, and establishing event metrics and reporting requirements.
Provide team oversight to ensure successful event experiences for internal and external stakeholders.
Achieve event marketing business objectives; ensure event-related budgets are developed, accurate, and managed within the limit.
**Key Responsibilities**- Manage all aspects of our internal, external, in-person and virtual, marketing events such as webinars, trade shows, etc.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments within the Atlas team to ensure our events are well attended, professionally run, on brand and all internal stakeholders are prepared with set expectations.
- Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly progress updates on the status of our internal events including current participation and agendas.
- Align closely with our Sales, Business Development and CS teams on external trade shows to create demand before and after each event.
- Help to ensure our event budget is on-track and quantify the impact of our events.
- Comfortable reporting and tracking metrics associated with marketing events.
**About You**- 4+ years experience running in-person, live-online and on-demand events.
Experience working for a SaaS company is a plus.
- Strong contract, vendor and financial management experience for pipeline generating events.
- Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to deliver high event participation and delegate responsibilities where needed (sales, customer success, marketing, etc.
).
- Experience using an event management software.
- Familiarity with marketing and sales tools such as HubSpot and Salesforce.
- Knowledge within the procurement, sourcing and/or supply chain space.
- Excellent written, oral, organizational and communication skills as it relates to delivering successful events and moderating sessions as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment within a growth stage company and passionate to work with disruptive technology.
