- ** Main Responsabilities**:- Team up annually with key leaders and align all functions towards a lean roadmap using Value Stream Mapping- Manage the kaizen calendar and 30/60/90 sustainment to achieve set goals- Organize and / or Lead impactful, cross functional kaizens to understand and meet ever changing business needs- Train and mentor Lean concepts to employees throughout the organization- Serve as a main point for any improvement activity in the plant and be recognized as a visible champion and expert.
- Monitor/initiate corrective actions to hit budget and operational targets- Make improvements to solutions of problems within an area- Scheduling and solving of work conflicts- Pro-actively manage department budget, and resolve resource conflict- Recommend or initiate personnel action such as disciplinary and discharge measures**Required Qualifications**:Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Lean skills preferably gained at shop floor- Experience running kaizen events (VSM, Standard Work/5S, 3P, TPI, SMED, Kanban Pull / Material Flow) and implementing change on the shop floor- Fluent Portuguese- Advanced English
