O que você irá fazer

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support across different business units and multifunctional teams, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and managing legal risks.
  • WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BEProvide legal advice and support on a wide range of issues, including commercial contracts.
  • Manage and mitigate legal risks associated with the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and projects, especially within the sales team.
  • Support finance in routine obligations and assist with debt collection and Judicial recoveryParticipate in the negotiation, drafting/review and approval of all material contracts.
  • Ensure that all key Unilever contracts are legally compliant, and Unilever interests are adequately safeguarded.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor changes to law and promptly inform all relevant Teams of the changes and provide suggestions on how to meet any change in the legal requirementsBe actively involved in potential litigation and litigation involving competition and commercial contractsMaintain good relationships with central and local government authorities and agencies that are relevant business interests, and which are within the remit of the legal department WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEEDExperiences & QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably in a similar role in the corporate world.
  • Strong knowledge in competition.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in constant collaboration.
  • Strong team working skills, relationship management, communication (both written and spoken), negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability to fast changing environmentsTeam-oriented, solutions- focused, and agile business partner who will work with a hands-on approach to extensive and complex legal issues.
  • Fluency in English is required.
