About The Role: At YipitData, our legal team is an essential and collaborative partner in the Companys growth.

As Counsel, Commercial Contracts , you will work with our commercial teams to review, draft, and manage a wide variety of commercial contracts: non-disclosure agreements, vendor and partnership agreements, services agreements and statements of work, and customer agreements.

As Our Counsel, Commercial Contracts You Will: Develop contract negotiation and drafting skills to manage a wide variety of commercial matters for YipitData, including contracts with vendors, partners, and customers.

Learn in a rapidly changing environment by navigating new problems and conceiving novel contracting frameworks when needed.

Respond promptly to legal requests from Sales, Finance, Product, Marketing, Human Resources, and other internal clients to facilitate contract review, support their business needs and communicate legal issues in clear and concise terms.

Enhance processes, efficiency, and best practices, including ongoing improvements to contract templates and contract management processes.

Evaluate and advise on appropriate legal courses of action to meet Company and business unit needs.

You Are Likely To Succeed If: 3-5 years of experience as a practicing attorney at a law firm or in-house.

You are excited by and highly determined to work on commercial contracts.

You have a passion for drafting, negotiating, and redlining and are eager to further develop these skills.

Your attention to detail is stellar.

You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working cross-functionally.

You thrive in the unknown, are motivated to think creatively each day and can handle new areas of responsibility independently.

Experience drafting and negotiating US business contracts is strongly preferred.

Nice to have: You have a law degree (JD or LLM) from a top law school in the United States, are licensed to practice and a member of good standing of a United States bar, and have the appropriate practical knowledge, skills and abilities acquired through 3-5 years of relevant experience.
