  • Purpose of the Role Were seeking an experienced senior Software Engineer to architect and develop a next-generation iGaming product for both mobile and desktop.
  • The ideal candidate will spearhead technical design, oversee the development lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a high-quality, robust, and innovative gaming experience.
  • Role and Responsibilities Development: Lead the architecture and development of a high-performance, scalable iGaming product for both mobile and desktop web.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical strategy, direction, and guidance on best practices in software design, architecture, and implementation.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with all stakeholders, including product management, design, and platform teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
  • Drive Code Quality: Implement and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices in security and performance.
  • Project Scoping and Planning: Work closely with stakeholders to define roadmaps, estimate timelines, and manage project priorities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging frameworks, and technologies relevant to the iGaming space.
  • Work Experience and Skills Essential Experience 10+ years of hands-on software development experience with a proven track record of designing and building high-performance, customer-facing web applications.
  • Proven track record in developing and maintaining casino game backend systems or game engines.
  • Hands-on experience integrating third-party RNG providers and other essential iGaming services.
  • Strong experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures.
  • Essential Skills: Tech Stack Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of modern frameworks (React, TypeScript, Next.
  • js, or similar), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • Mobile & Desktop Development: Proven experience delivering responsive, cross-platform web experiences.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring engineers and cultivating high-performance environments.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Personal Qualities and Behavioral Traits Essential Qualities and Behaviours: Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across different time zones.
  • High level of accountability and ownership over delivered features and system stability.
  • Passionate about delivering world-class user experiences through robust backend solutions.
  • Analytical thinker with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Desirable Qualities and Behaviours: Interest in blockchain, crypto technologies, and their application in gaming.
  • Enthusiastic about the gaming industry, particularly within the casino and sports betting sectors.

  • Relationships Key Internal Relationships: Game Design Team Collaborate on implementing game mechanics and math models.
  • Front-End Development Team Ensure seamless API integration and data flow between backend and client-side applications.
  • DevOps/Infrastructure Team Work together to optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Product Management Align backend development with product roadmaps and feature priorities.
  • Compliance and Security Teams Ensure backend systems meet regulatory requirements and security best practices.
